Update 0.2 is here! This build adds new features such as a minimap for easier exploration, improved performance, enemy balancing, and more!
The game is still coming along, but with IRL things, it might take a bit longer for 1.0 to release. My goal is for 1.0 to be polished enough to put on steam. But for now, I'll keep releasing the larger updates to the dev builds here.
The main goals for the future 0.3 release are as follows:
- Backgrounds for the outer void of all levels
- Better 2D shaders for bloom, lighting, etc.
- Real settings menu for PC with resolution options, sound options, etc.
- Custom targeting reticles
- Colorblind mode
- Better movement system
- Improved enemy AI
That's a whole lot. But it'll get done eventually, hopefully in the next 2 or so months. And with that, onto the full patch notes for 0.2.

- Added minimap
- Added minimap fog of war
- Added lasers to sniperbots, for easier dodging
- Enabled VSync by default for better performance
- Fixed spaghetti code causing stutters
- Improved menu system to be more modular
